Costa Rica Misson Trip

Alajuela, Costa Rica

Lush rainforests, beautiful beaches, and mountain volcanoes make Costa Rica a popular tourist destination. With much to explore, the country is an eco-adventurer’s dream come true!

But regular tourists don’t get to see an often-hidden side of Costa Rica. From shanty towns of Nicaraguan refugees in bigger cities to small, indigenous communities of unreached people—groups deep in the mountains, there’s much more to Costa Rica than what meets the average tourist’s eye.

When you serve in Alajuela, Costa Rica with theofficial247, you’ll have the chance to serve alongside the people of La Guacima Mansion Church and Pastor Jonathan Barth.

The focus of our mission trip will be to support La Guacima Mansion and impact their community. Pastor Jonathan Barth will help us build a team schedule around their strengths as they pertain to the community’s physical, spiritual, emotional and economic needs.

Sample Itinerary

Sunday – Arrive at San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport (SJO); transport to Hotel Robleda, Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Monday-Friday – Service Projects (One day during the week is set aside for recreation to visit cultural and geographic landmarks); Crew Stories conversation with the whole team in the evening.

Saturday – Depart for SJO airport; fly home
